The Learning Spaces
Early on it was recognised that the Exhibits would require the creation of spaces where viewers would be able to read and ponder them in comfort. This led to the choice of three sites, adjacent to the Letcombe Brook public footpath, where street lights exist.
Considerable work was undertaken by volunteers in preparing these sites for construction of the concrete foundations required for the Exhibits.

Three local freelance builders undertook the construction works in August 2010. The main tasks included the digging of 1.1m deep foundations, the transport and installation of Sarsen Stone 'Seats' and the laying of a hoggin surface.
